Dream In Color
In October of last year, after searching for a new direction in life, I saw an opportunity to create something special. Following a rough year trying to transition from being a college athlete to a functional member of the "real world", I decided to take a leap of faith with The Tie Dye Company as soon as I spotted the trend. I started from scratch, selling my personal items on eBay to help fund the operation I started in my garage, and haven't looked back since. I have a degree in psychology, and never thought of myself as a tastemaker, but combining tie-dye with an ethos that hinges on mental health, wellness and happiness, it’s easy to see how the two have come together: I never wanted to be a clothing brand, I just wanted to show people life doesn’t have to be so hard.
The Tie Dye Company started with the goal to build a successful and sustainable business from the ground up with whatever resources were readily available at the time. As TDC continues to grow, I hope to inspire others to follow their dreams, even if it means starting from the bottom. Everything I do, I believe is for a better future. I believe in challenging the status quo, thinking differently, and doing things that others are not willing to do.
My ultimate goal is to build a "fantasy factory" that will host live performances and events with our company. With all the fun outdoor activities brought indoors, we can offer the youth that "outdoor" experience they need just by becoming a member of The Tie Dye Company.
